Blueprint Masquerades proudly present the light-hearted comedy Marian, or The True Tale of Robin Hood by American playwright Adam Szymkovicz.

Described as a “gender-bending, patriarchy-smashing, hilarious new take on the classic tale”, the play tells the story of Maid Marian, alias Robin Hood, and her merry, forest-dwelling, poorly named crew “The Merry Men” (who are definitely not all men). This wacky ensemble is caught between struggling to provide for the poor by stealing from Prince John and dealing with their own personal turmoils, exploring themes of friendship, love and the LGBTQ+ experience.

The performances are accompanied by self-composed live music and they take place at the "Theatersaal Irchel" (i.e. room Y21-F-65 on Campus Irchel, Winterthurerstrasse 190, 8057 Zürich). Each performance has an intermission during which people can get a breath of fresh air and purchase drinks and snacks. Tickets are free - but there will be a donation box.

While it is not mandatory to do so, we advise that tickets be reserved in advance at https://blueprintmasquerades.com/tickets/.
