25.01.20222021 W. Shuy Best Paper in American Speech award

Prof. Dr. Daniel Schreier, Prof. Dr. Simone E. Pfenninger and Davide Zullo won the 2021 Roger W. Shuy Best Paper in American Speech Award for their article “A Pan-Atlantic ‘Multiple Modal Belt?’”. The award comes with a 2-year membership to the American Dialect Society. It is the first time that it has been awarded to researchers at an institution outside North America.
