The study programs in English Literature and Linguistics prepare students for later employment in a range of areas, particularly:

Academic Career
If you think you might be interested in an academic career, a student job at the university might be of interest to you. At the English Department, there are number of student jobs available, such as student employee on a project or at a chair, or as tutor for a module. These jobs are advertised internally or on the UZH job board.
