Read by Miguel Antonio Garcia
The poem does not in fact make it clear whether the speaker approached Italy through the Austrian, Swiss, or French Alps. (When visiting Italy, Wilde himself is unlikely to have traveled through Austria; however, it is perfectly possible that he traveled there via France rather than Switzerland.)
One thing we do know is that Wilde did not particularly like Switzerland (e.g. Ellmann 235) - but that's not a good reason for refraining from including the poem here.
