Robert Greacen references the Swiss depth psychologist C. G. Jung in several of his poems, including:
The dream described in the poem is taken from C. G. Jung's autobiography, Memories, Dreams, Reflections. At the time described (i.e. when Jung was four years old), the family lived in Laufen.
