Lecture: "Reading and Writing in the Age of Social Media: Sally Rooney's 'Intermezzo'" by Professors C. Lötscher and B. Straumann
Professors Christine Lötscher and Barbara Straumann will be giving a lecture entitled "Reading and Writing in the Age of Social Media: Sally Rooney’s Intermezzo” on Monday, May 19th, 2025, from 4:15-5:45 pm, in Room KOL-H-312 (Rämistrasse 71).
The event is part of the lecture series “Literatur(e) 2025,” which explores (very) recent literary texts published in the last few months. Christine Lötscher and Barbara Straumann will discuss Sally Rooney’s new novel in the context of the new literary and affective cultures that have developed around BookTok and other social media.
