The English Department cordially invites you to attend a Creative Nonfiction seminar in which ABC News London correspondent Nick Schifrin will be conducting a Literary Journalism Workshop. Date: Friday 17 May 12:15-13:45 (PLH 5)

Schifrin brings a wealth of journalistic experience with him to the workshop. He: spent four years as ABC’s Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India correspondent; was the first Western journalist on the scene in Pakistan after the killing of Osama bin Laden; has interviewed many significant political leaders, including Hillary Clinton, Kofi Annan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and John Kerry; is the author of “Reading Shakespeare in Kandahar”, which we will be discussing in the workshop.
