Everybody is cordially invited to Prof. Dr. Galin Tihanov's Guest Lecture on "Cosmopolitanism in 18th- and 19th-Century Literature." Galin Tihanov is Professor of Comparative Literature and Intellectual History at the University of Manchester, GB. His publications include The Master and the Slave: Lukács, Bakhtin, and the Ideas of Their Time (2000), books on Bulgarian literature, on Bakhtin and the Bakhtin Circle and on photography.
