24.03.2025Shakespeare Week 2025 - Update!

This year’s Shakespeare Week will take place from July 21^st to July 25^th, 2025, and is organized by Professor Isabel Karremann's Chair for Early Modern Literature. It will first take participants to London, where they will visit the Globe Theatre to see three Shakespeare plays and to attend workshops on theatrical practice as well as going on a guided tour of the playhouse. In Stratford, participants will not only explore the places where Shakespeare was born and lived, but also watch a production of The Winter's Tale, performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. The performance will be rounded off by a conversation with the actors.

A first information meeting took place in Room PLH 102 on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, from 18:15 to 19:00. A second information meeting will take place in Room PLH 102 on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, also from 18:15-19:00.

There are places for twelve BA students. Applications should be sent toOlivia Lanni by April 15th, 2025.
